Old Habits Die Hard

After having not played RuneScape since before Dungeoneerings release I've decided to play again. There's so many new things since I've last play, all the Dungeoneering items, Curses, plenty of Quests and Tasks, new boss monsters and a lot of things I don't even know about yet. It's both overwhelming and exciting.

I've decided I'm going to get 99 Slayer. I've always wanted the cape and am currently 95 so it shouldn't take too long. It will also give me the charms I want to get to 88 Summoning, which would also give me 137 combat and unicorns! Hopefully I can make some money along the way since I'm fairly broke right now. I'll have to whip through tasks until I can be bothered to do some Dungeoneering for a Chaotic weapon or get enough money for a God Sword.

When I learned about the new Curse book for Prayer and how useful it is for Slayer (amongst many other things) I had to get it. So after having only done a few Slayer tasks I started doing the quests I needed.

The Tale of the Muspah...

A Guild Of Our Own...

Missing My Mummy...

And finally The Temple at Senntisten...

A couple rewards for The Temple at Senntisten are a 26k experience lamp for any skill over level 50, which I used on Dungeoneering to get me to 52. As well as two 20k experience lamps which work on any combat skill over level 50 (including Summoning but not Prayer). These I used on Summoning. Immediately after I was assigned to slay some Black Demons which gave me a great chance to try Soul Spirit and Turmoil, incredible prayers. Soul Spirit is like a built in Guthans and Turmoil is everything you could want.

That pretty much wraps up what I've done so far. I'm excited to usel the Curses more while Slaying and hope to complete some more Quests along the way so I can get Quest Cape back.
